Supply & Inventory Manager - Refined Fuels Automated Fuel Delivery

Summary
CHS, Inc. is hiring a Supply & Inventory Manager – Refined Fuels Automated Fuel Delivery to provide leadership and strategic direction across several key functions within the Refined Fuels Energy product lines, supporting the Automated Fuel Delivery (AFD) program.
In this role, you will conduct supply planning for AFD assets and demand, manage bulk plant inventory strategy, and lead tank settlement processes. You will also conduct forecasting, supply planning, and distribution optimization efforts.
Additionally, this position will play a key role in assisting with designing and implementing the AFD supply and inventory management program across the entire CHS refined fuels region.
This is a hybrid position at our global corporate headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Responsibilities
- Supply and demand planning for all AFD volume for the CHS refined fuels network. Manage agreement volumes with affiliates and retail locations, model and forecast demand needs and work with refined fuels supply team for optimum execution of supply plan.
- Manage bulk plants inventory strategy. Work with all locations to maintain inventory and daily position report. Advise trading team of daily position and inventory risk strategy.
- Manage tank settlements. Duties will include collaboration with refined fuels operations teams, AFD operations team and refined fuels account managers on settlement options, metrics and volume.
- Manage processes for forecasting demand, supply planning and directing distribution to optimize. Duties will include collaboration with refined fuels supply, economics, GTM operational efficiency team, AFD operations, Transportation and IT to determine supply and demand management tools, processes and implementation of technology needs.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 7+ years of experience in business and/or business operations
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related area
- Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement in existing organizations and business processes and create, develop, establish buy-in and implement new solutions to those areas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate and influence without direct authority with individuals at all levels of the organization to enact strategy and operational improvements
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts to existing business applications

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
