Sean

Sean Donohue is a certified energy specialist who joined CHS in 2024. Before beginning his career at CHS, Sean spent 10 years in the U.S. Army National Guard as an AH-64 Apache pilot, where he completed two deployments and gained valuable leadership, logistics and life experience.

“At CHS, I work hard to build trust with customers and prospects by showing that I genuinely care about them and the challenges they face,” says Sean. “Without trust, you can’t establish meaningful relationships.”

Sean applies the preparation and discipline he learned in the military to his work with growers and ranchers. Before stepping onto a customer’s field, he takes time to understand their operation and the factors that may be influencing their decisions.

“I keep the big picture in mind,” he says. “Rather than chasing a quick sale, I focus on building relationships first. When the timing is right, that foundation can lead to a customer for life.”

The Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG) supports and empowers our veteran employees, service members, military families and colleagues. VERG fosters a sense of camaraderie by offering opportunities to connect, share experiences and grow—through mentorship, networking and community outreach.
