Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Purchasing Coordinator to join our Retail Administration team in Lynden, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating weekly orders from retail locations, managing SKU setup and maintenance, processing supplier invoices, and overseeing purchase order workflows from entry to closure. You’ll play a key role in driving process improvements, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, and ensuring purchasing activities are streamlined and efficient. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing, along with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly orders from retail locations to suppliers
  • Responsible for individual sku setup and maintenance
  • Prepare individual invoices from suppliers to A/P
  • Independently prioritize and drive daily processes and procedures while providing a continuous improvement approach.
  • Establish strong relationships with all partners and team members.
  • Purchase order entry, make updates, track to approval and closure.
  • Monitor & obtain proper approvals from the Purchasing buyer and other partners.
  • Update purchase orders for quantity, price and delivery date changes.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process efficiencies within the role

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Purchasing
  • High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

  • Computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Suite
  • Some travel may be required

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
