Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic learning and development team, reporting to the Operations Director of Learning and Development. The Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development (L&D) team by coordinating and executing various logistical aspects of our training programs and projects. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for learning and development.
This is a hybrid role that has the flexibility to work 3 days per week at our Inver Grove Heights headquarters and 2 days per week at home.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Training Logistics: Schedule sessions, reserve rooms, arrange catering, prepare materials, and manage shipments for training events.
- Maintain Records: Keep training schedules, rosters, and program details up to date using Excel, ShparePoint, SuccessFactors (SAP), and Learning Pool.
- Vendor Partnership: Order and manage training toolkits and miscellaneous training supplies needed by facilitation team.
- Enable the L&D Team: Prepare reports, create presentations, organize L&D team weekly, monthly, and quarterly conferences, seminars, and team-building activities.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple tasks concurrently to ensure successful execution of training programs and events.
Act as liaison: Manage the shared L&D calendar and email for program inquiries, problem solve and troubleshoot, connect with resources to ensure follow up to inquiries - Program Support: Provide on-site support to ensure smooth training operations or produce virtual learning sessions in MS teams.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Executive Assistance, or Human Resources
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Planner (or Microsoft Project)
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple events, projects and learning initiatives
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and a self-starter
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with learning management system (SAP SuccessFactors, Learning Pool)
- Power BI for data analysis and reporting

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
