Facility Management Specialist

Summary
Responsibilities
- Establish and follow daily operating procedures aligned with company policies and objectives
- Act as a liaison across departments to promote clear communication and effective information flow
- Coordinate work and priorities across employee groups and departments as needed
- Oversee day‑to‑day facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality service
- Direct operational activities to deliver prompt, courteous, and effective service while maintaining efficiency and profitability
- Supervise employees by providing training, clear job expectations, coaching, and performance feedback
- Address performance issues and recognize strong performance while supporting employee development
- Evaluate and improve housekeeping, safety, and equipment maintenance programs to reduce downtime and safety risks
- Maintain accurate record‑keeping logs for facility equipment, safety, and operations
- Regularly review operational results and report findings and recommendations to management
- Oversee, monitor, and enforce all company policies and procedures
- Maintain accountability for location safety practices and promote a strong safety culture
- Monitor inventory condition and maintain quality standards
- Operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile equipment as required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- 4+ years of experience in Production and/or Operations.
Additional Qualifications
- Agriculture or grain experience preferred
Physical Requirements
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
