Senior Procurement Analyst

The Senior Procurement Analyst to oversee indirect procurement for our operations in SOAM. This role will focus on developing and upgrading procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and optimizing vendor relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Operations: Manage indirect procurement, including equipment, maintenance services, office supplies, and operational expenses for all SOAM operations.
- Process Development & Improvement: Evaluate, develop, and implement new procurement strategies to enhance efficiency, cost control, and supplier management.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
- Contract & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and analyze procurement spending, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with operations, finance, and management teams to align procurement processes with business needs.
- Technology & Data Management: Utilize/ Implement procurement software and data analysis to track performance and optimize purchasing decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors' degree in Supply Chain, Engineer, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, preferably in grain operations, agriculture, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor negotiations, and process improvement.
- Experience with contract management and cost analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
- English advanced.
