Summary
CHS Sun Basin has an exciting opportunity as an Agronomy Sales Trainee in Quincy, Washington. This role will report to the Quincy, WA office each day. You will work hand in hand with a seasoned Agronomist and Operations leader while learning the Agronomy and Operations functions of the business.
Responsibilities
- Assist Agronomy Sales Specialist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving
- Learn the features and benefits of all agronomy products
- Learn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations
- Learn and utilize sales technology solutions
- Learn crop protection product mixing and operation of application equipment
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Knowledge of Training and/or Learning and Development
- High School diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
- Willingness to work extended hours in peak season
- Farming or Agriculture knowledge
- Agricultural or commodity sales experience
- Ability to work additional hours on nights and weekends
- Aptitude for technical sales
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related field

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
