Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Finance Transformation team. We are looking for a Business Process Owner to provide overall support for integration of SAP in Finance. You will ensure the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are being fully realized while driving productivity and the optimal use of new and existing systems and processes. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be comfortable with change and ambiguity while possessing a high level of strategic focus/perspective and tactical ability to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper prioritization of system processes invoked by business processes using in-depth knowledge of business and finance

• Harmonize process improvement plans / activities with other business process owners within the value streams across the product lines

• Ensure business process change requests are prioritized and communicated according to the governance model

• Support the implementation of CHS1 in a manner that is cost efficient, customer effective and integrated in or within SAP.

• Validate data sets for testing and define test scenarios

• Maintain effective communication channels between the business, business readiness and the technology team

• Influence development of clear case for change, desired outcomes, accurate scope, clear roles and decision-making.

• Monitor performance and effectiveness of specific business processes in close cooperation with IT (triggering escalations and escalation management as required)

• Ensure business process and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX compliance)

• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Project Implementation

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Experience with SAP or ERP system implementations
  • Experience with financial reporting

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
