Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity for a Refined & Renewable Fuels Trading Intern within the Refined Fuels & Renewables Trading team. You must be detail oriented, analytical and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Work with traders to gain exposure to basic trading functions and concepts.
- Gain exposure to the energy and renewable markets, developing knowledge and understanding of the business.
- Assist traders with market analysis and data collection.
- Contribute to market update meetings by sharing knowledge of current market information.
- Assist in daily position monitoring and reporting functions.
- Assist in hedging futures positions for the forward contract book.
- Obtain a working knowledge of various software programs including SAP, JD Edwards, Refinitiv Eikon (Reuters), Cheta Pro and Power BI.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field (expected graduation date of May/June 2026 or 2027).
Additional Qualifications
- Previous internship in trading and/or merchandising
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
