Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an associate level Systems Engineer to provide support and oversight for End User Computing technologies. This role plans and builds system infrastructure including implementing and modifying systems as well as monitors the performance. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all levels of end users.
- Provide End User Computing engineering and support services for managed systems.
- Process new hire IT onboarding and hardware break-fix.
- Maintain and help configure existing software, systems, and system tools.
- Process Incidents and Requests in ServiceNow ticket queue while following appropriate standard procedure documentation for resolution/fulfillment.
- Address escalated issues, process improvements and efficiencies.
- Provide status updates to management and end-users.
- Support, develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to end user support.
- Recommend solutions to reduce problems or improve efficiencies, including new processes and technologies.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 0-1+ years of Information Technology, IT Architecture and Engineering and/or IT Infrastructure support experience ideally to include:
- Working in an Infrastructure End User Support and\or Operations environment
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve escalated tickets on PC and mobile devices
- Active Directory, Exchange/O365, provisioning and lifecycle management processes
- PowerShell with some understanding of scripting
- Microsoft 365 to understand implications to End Users and Devices
- Enterprise printing and fax configurations and troubleshooting Imaging and hardware lifecycle management
- Troubleshooting AD\Azure AD configurations and impact to users\devices
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field
- Experience implementing process improvements using Lean principles
- Support of IT core technology platforms that align with end user computing technology landscape
- Certified in Dell\Microsoft technology support (or the ability to become certified)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use technology, create scripts or partner with development groups to improve end user computing management service
