HR Talent Acquisition Recruiter Intern

CHS has exciting opportunities within our Talent Acquisition team. We are looking for Recruiter Interns to be part of our high performing Field Hiring Team. We offer PAID training to learn our systems and best practices for full lifecycle recruiting. This position will gain hands on recruiting experience including strategic sourcing techniques; reviewing and screening candidates; offer process; and onboarding new employees to CHS. These internship roles will partner closely with our recruiters, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition coordinators, and hiring managers to ensure we successfully achieve the high-volume Spring Hiring needs for CHS in multiple states.

Our Recruiter Interns:

  • Collaborate with efficiency in a high energy, fast paced team environment
  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current openings within the organization
  • Support the CHS employment brand, diversity initiatives, and other programs
  • Support the recruitment process and lifecycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, assessments, and offers
  • Utilize our applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track applicants from the selection phase to onboarding as a new hire
  • Learn about employee benefits, salary, incentive programs and CHS culture to share with candidates
  • Provide sourcing support for other Talent Acquisition colleagues as needed Focus on providing a positive candidate experience, by ensuring appropriate follow up and professional communication with candidates at all levels in the process
  • Provide a positive hiring manager experience and ensures regular updates are provided to hiring managers
  • Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical and creative means to source candidates for open jobs
  • Supports recruiting events such as career fairs Comply with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Human Resources or related degree program with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business, or Communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Efficient multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Previous internship experience in an HR role preferred
