CHS is currently looking for an Office Assistant to suport our CHS Elm Creek, NE business unit located in Southern NE. The ideal candidate would be able to make decisions, work independently, and be detail oriented with excellent communication skills. In addition, this role is eligible for relocation. The CHS Holdrege business unit is a diverse cooperative with 13 locations including grain, agronomy and energy commodities. This business unit is comprised of approximately 110 employees including a volume of seasonal staff to accommodate our busy spring planting and fall harvest activities. - Handle administrative details and routine issues independently, and take responsibility for completing these on time with high quality.
- Handle customer phone calls, walk in traffic and direct patrons to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
- Ability to learn grain scale and Agis Software to help farmer customers
- Operate Grain Scale
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Up to 3 years of office experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Associate’s degree
- Farming background / understanding
- Familiar with Agris accounting software
