Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor in our Finance Shared Services (FSS) department to oversee day-to-day operations of an accounts payable team. This position will collaborate with business leaders to drive standardization and efficiencies with a focus on improving processes, technology, and developing talent. This position will report to the Senior Manager of FSS. This is a hybrid position, with our office located in Eagan, MN two days a week.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate the daily activities of an Accounts Payable team of 11 people, including work direction, performance management, coaching, and development
- Oversee timely and accurate invoice processing, and ensure timely payments are made to vendors
- Act as second level escalation point for issues and timely resolution
- Create and maintain processes and standard work instructions for invoice processing
- Lead special projects related to transformation, improving processes, and identifying issues and gaps
- Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of department and business objectives through collaboration and communication
- Reconcile monthly Accounts Payable accounts and complete intercompany clearing processes
- Define, develop, and measure key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics
- Present key metrics to the FSS Senior Manager, depicting opportunities for improvement and measures of success
- Ensure accounting procedures are correct and in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and standard internal control requirements
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard accounting/accounts payable/receivable practices and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard accounting/accounts payable/receivable practices and procedures
- Experience using automated financial and accounting systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
