Senior Manager, Sales

Summary

Maintaining relationships and a current portfolio with key accounts for CHS Animal Nutrition is paramount to our organizational success and sustainability. Our Senior Sales Manager will support the organization by identifying growth opportunities with our commercial production agriculture segment.

Responsibilities

People leadership:

  • Manage Sales Consultants and Technical Sales/Product Ag Consultants
  • Develop key account management role for Beef and Dairy 
  • Grow territory by 10% year over year
  • Pipeline management – manage and report on active opportunities for growth

Partnership Development:

  • Maintain and Develop strategic relationships to support top customers 
  • Manage relationships and agreements with independent nutrition consultants 

Category Leadership:

  • Develop a strategy for feedlots and beef partnerships across value chain nationally 
  • Work directly with Product Director on innovation for segment
  • Develop investment strategy 

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations 
  • Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities

Additional Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading a sales team 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
