Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Wholesale Agronomy Department. We are looking for Wholesale Agronomy Sales Interns. You will work extensively with customers in ensuring they are provided the highest level of service and information as possible. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Assist Product Specialists and Account Managers with Retail Customer needs.
- Understand integrated pest management techniques and help Retail customers determine treatment thresholds.
- Generate written reports and present them to supervisor and/or customer.
- Learn the features and benefits of all agronomy products and assist Retail Customers with product decisions.
- Assist in Account Managers in communicating targeted marketing efforts and track progress with Retail Customers.
- Execute on tasks with Retail Customers to survey for information and report back to Account Manager.
- Maintain a professional image with a great attitude, appropriate dress code and a clean vehicle.
- Work in and keep an environment that is compliant with state, local and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Currently enrolled in Agriculture or Business related degree program
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
